On the simulator learned skills can be proved on a real, remote controlled microscope. To work on a real instrument is more motivating and allows students to work on up to date experiments. Student can work co-operatively on the same experiment. An especially designed multimedia environment supports the students while controlling the instrument delocalized. In addition to the measure and the control data, audio and video information is transmitted via the Internet. The students can communicate together even when they are on different places.
